Is this read-only — for real?
Yes. The Plaid scope is Investments only, which only reads holdings and securities. There is no Auth scope (bank account numbers), no Transfer scope (money movement), no Transactions scope on the brokerage side. XORA's backend uses the access token once to call investmentsHoldingsGet, then discards it.
Why is XORA paying me to share my portfolio?
Two reasons. First, it's a fair welcome incentive for new users — most platforms gate bonuses behind deposits; XORA gates this one behind a verifiable signal that you're an actual investor. Second, it tells XORA what's idle and where there's a real product fit (e.g., NVDA holders who could convert into XRP yield via the tokenized stocks bridge).
What's the minimum portfolio value?
$100 USD across all holdings. Empty or near-empty broker accounts don't qualify — that gate exists to prevent farming. One bonus per user, one bonus per linked broker account.
Which brokers are supported?
Any US broker that supports Plaid Investments — Schwab, Fidelity, Vanguard, E*TRADE, Merrill, TD Ameritrade. Robinhood support depends on Robinhood's current Plaid Investments policy, which has changed several times; if you don't see it in the Plaid modal, that's why.
