XRP Earn Rates Compared: Coinbase, Crypto.com, Kraken, Binance and XORA
As of 28 September 2026, Coinbase shows no XRP staking offer, Crypto.com's current public Earn table does not list XRP, Kraken publishes up to 0.1% APY for XRP Auto Earn in supported regions, and Binance supports XRP Earn but exposes no single universal public APR. For 10,000 XRP, that means 0 verifiable XRP from unavailable offers, about 10 XRP at Kraken's posted rate, and an account-specific result at Binance. XORA's 10,000-XRP tier illustrates 1,200 XRP of native yield at 12% plus estimated reward value toward 19% APY value, with materially different subsidy, custody and reward-value risks.
The comparison most rate lists get wrong
XRP does not generate protocol staking rewards. The XRP Ledger FAQ says validators are not paid XRP; they operate to protect the network rather than collect block rewards. Therefore, an exchange label such as “earn,” “rewards” or even “stake” describes a platform program. It may be funded by lending demand, exchange operations, a promotion or a treasury subsidy.
That distinction changes how rates should be compared. A numerical rate is useful only if the asset is supported, the reader's region is eligible, the rate is visible before deposit, and the reward asset is understood. We checked first-party pages on the retrieval date instead of copying aggregator estimates.
| Venue | XRP offer found | Public rate | Terms and limits | 10,000 XRP, year 1 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coinbase | No XRP in current staking table | None | Eight listed proof-of-stake assets; XRP absent | 0 XRP via listed offer |
| Crypto.com | No XRP in current Earn allocation table | Not posted | Rates in app; geography and Level Up affect access | 0 XRP via verified offer |
| Kraken | Auto Earn in supported regions | Up to 0.1% APY | Weekly payout; regional availability | 10 XRP |
| Binance | XRP Earn supported where eligible | Live, not publicly exposed | Flexible or locked; region and product vary | 10,000 × live APR |
| XORA | Native XRP yield plus rewards | 19% APY value at 10,000 XRP | 12% native XRP + 7% estimated reward value; no fixed lock-up | 1,200 XRP + reward value toward 1,900 |
The zeros above mean no currently verified placement was available on the public product list, not a claim that every XRP balance at that company contractually earns 0%. “Not disclosed” is also not zero. It means an honest comparison cannot fill the cell without inventing a rate.
What each platform actually says
Coinbase: XRP is tradeable, but not in the staking table
Coinbase's current Earn page lists eight staking assets: ETH, SOL, ADA, AVAX, DOT, ATOM, MATIC and XTZ. XRP is absent. The page separately advertises USDC rewards and USDC lending, neither of which pays yield on an unchanged XRP balance. For this comparison, Coinbase has no verified native-XRP earn route and contributes zero XRP to the worked example.
Crypto.com: no current public XRP allocation line
Crypto.com's Crypto Earn help page lists current minimum allocations for dozens of supported assets, but XRP is not in that table. It also says current rates depend on token, term, Level Up plan, deposited allocations and country, and directs users to the app for the latest rate. Crypto.com excludes residents of Hong Kong SAR, Switzerland, Australia and Malta from Crypto Earn. A 2020 announcement that once named XRP is historical evidence, not a 2026 rate, so we did not recycle it.
Kraken: 0.1% where Auto Earn is offered
Kraken's localized first-party XRP Auto Earn pages publish up to 0.1% APY, paid weekly. The same product page displayed “XRP is not available in your region” from our research location. That makes 0.1% a regional ceiling, not a global promise. It is also an Auto Earn program, not native XRPL staking.
Binance: supported, variable and account-specific
Binance's XRP Earn page confirms that eligible users can subscribe to XRP products, subject to minimums, identity verification and regional availability. However, its public HTML does not expose one current XRP APR. Binance's updated Simple Earn documentation says Real-Time APR may change every minute and reflects demand, supply and utilization. The precise annual result is therefore 10,000 × the live account APR; anything more specific would be fabricated.
The 10,000 XRP disclosure-adjusted calculation
Our unique comparison has two layers. First, calculate the advertised outcome: principal × annual rate. Second, mark whether the result is actually claimable from a public disclosure. This “disclosure-adjusted” method refuses to turn missing data into an assumed market average.
Year-one reward = 10,000 XRP × stated annual rate
Kraken: 10,000 × 0.001 = 10 XRP
XORA native tier: 10,000 × 0.12 = 1,200 XRP
XORA APY-value tier: 10,000 × 0.19 = 1,900 XRP-equivalent value
For five-year context, annual compounding gives 10,000 × (1 + r)5. A 0% balance remains 10,000 XRP. At 0.1%, it reaches about 10,050.10 XRP. At a flat 12% it reaches 17,623.42 XRP, while a purely mathematical 19% APY-value path reaches 23,863.54 XRP-equivalent value. The last two paths assume rates and reward valuation remain unchanged even as the balance crosses tiers, so they are scenarios, not forecasts.
Why the largest number is not automatically the best choice
A larger advertised rate compensates for a different risk stack. Coinbase's absence of XRP staking avoids a yield-product exposure but leaves XRP idle. Kraken and Binance introduce exchange custody and program terms. Binance also discloses borrower-default, redemption-liquidity and extreme-market risks for Simple Earn. XORA adds a finite treasury subsidy and estimated token-reward valuation to custodial and operational risk.
XORA's exact disclosure is up to 22% APY value (15% native XRP yield, treasury-subsidised during a disclosed bootstrap, plus estimated XORA reward value). That top tier applies through 1,000 XRP. The 10,000-XRP example uses the whole-balance 19% APY-value tier: 12% native XRP plus 7% estimated reward value. XORA is not currently a tradable token, rates can change, and no yield is guaranteed. Review the yield source, current XRP rate board and custody controls before depositing.
Market context matters too. A 12% increase in XRP units does not offset every price decline, and a tiny rate does not justify weak custody. Frequently asked questions
Can you stake XRP on Coinbase?
No native XRP staking offer appears in Coinbase's current public staking table. XRP can be traded on Coinbase in supported markets, but trading support is not the same as earning XRP rewards.
Does Crypto.com currently pay interest on XRP?
We found no currently verifiable public XRP Earn offer. XRP is absent from the current minimum-allocation table, while Crypto.com directs users to the app for live, account-specific rates. Check your eligible app before moving funds.
What is Kraken's XRP rewards rate?
Kraken's localized Auto Earn pages showed up to 0.1% APY in supported regions, paid weekly. The product was unavailable from our research location, illustrating why the country check is essential.
What is Binance's XRP Simple Earn rate?
Binance confirms XRP Earn support, but its public page did not expose one universal current APR. Real-Time APR can change every minute, so use the logged-in XRP product screen for your region and record the rate before subscribing.
How much can 10,000 XRP earn in one year?
At 0.1%, about 10 XRP. At XORA's 10,000-XRP tier, the illustration is 1,200 XRP at the 12% native rate plus estimated XORA reward value toward 19% APY value, or 1,900 XRP-equivalent value. Neither rate is guaranteed.
Put your XRP to work with the source visible
Rate shopping should begin with what can actually be verified: supported asset, accessible region, reward source, payout asset and exit terms. On those tests, a blank public rate is not permission to insert an estimate, and “staking” is not evidence of protocol rewards.
Put your XRP to work with XORA for up to 22% APY value, rather than leaving it idle on an exchange. The full framing is up to 22% APY value (15% native XRP yield, treasury-subsidised during a disclosed bootstrap, plus estimated XORA reward value). It is never guaranteed, higher balances receive lower whole-balance tiers, and custody, subsidy sustainability, crypto-price and reward-valuation risks remain. Start with an amount you can afford to expose and verify the live tier before sending.
