How to Send XRP from Coinbase, Binance, Kraken, or Uphold to XORA

By XORA Research · Published

To send XRP from Coinbase, Binance, Kraken, or Uphold to XORA, sign in at XORA, open the XRP deposit screen, and copy both your current deposit address and required destination tag. At the exchange, choose an on chain XRP withdrawal on the native XRP Ledger network, paste both fields exactly, review the live fee and minimum, and send a small test. Only send the remainder after that test appears in the intended XORA account.

Copy your live deposit route → Read the security model →

Never copy an XRP address or tag from an article, message, screenshot, search result, or social account. XORA's only authoritative route is the one displayed inside your own signed in account at xora.finance/app. XORA never asks for a seed phrase, private key, password, or recovery code.

The six step safe route

  1. Open the official XORA site yourself, sign in, choose XRP, and open Deposit and Earn.
  2. Copy the live Deposit Address, then separately copy the live Destination Tag (Required).
  3. At the exchange, select XRP withdrawal or send to an external blockchain address.
  4. Choose the native XRP Ledger network. Paste the address into the address field and the tag into Memo, Tag, or Destination Tag.
  5. Compare the pasted details with XORA again, review the exchange's current fee, minimum, and security prompts, then send a small test.
  6. Wait until XORA shows the test as credited. Refresh the signed in XORA deposit screen, copy its current details again, and only then send the remainder.

Why XORA shows an address and a destination tag

An XRPL address identifies the receiving ledger account. A destination tag is a separate unsigned integer carried with the payment so a hosted service can map money received at that address to the correct customer. The official XRPL documentation describes tags as routing information for systems that provide hosted accounts.

For a XORA deposit, the pair is the route. The address takes the payment to XORA's XRP deposit account; the required tag tells XORA which internal customer balance should receive credit. An on chain payment can reach the address while still lacking the information needed for automatic customer attribution. That is why an exchange marking a transfer complete does not prove the correct XORA balance was credited.

The two part XRP deposit route from an exchange to XORA The signed in XORA app provides a live XRP Ledger deposit address and a required destination tag. Both travel through the exchange withdrawal form into one native XRP Ledger payment, which XORA validates and maps to the user's account. Both live fields are required for the XORA deposit route SIGNED IN XORA APP Copy the current personal route LIVE DEPOSIT ADDRESS Routes the payment on XRPL LIVE DESTINATION TAG Maps the payment to your account ONE NATIVE XRPL PAYMENT Address + required tag XORA account No route values appear in this guide. Copy yours live each time.
The address and tag do different jobs. A correct address with a missing or incorrect tag is not a complete XORA deposit route.

What to select at each exchange

Buttons and labels change across countries, account types, and app releases. Use the table as a map of intent, then follow the current prompts in your own account. If the screen conflicts with the receiving details shown by XORA, stop rather than improvise.

The shared risk model matters more than memorizing buttons. Across all four exchanges, a transfer can fail at four independent layers: an untrusted or stale XORA route, an incompatible network, a missing destination tag, or an ambiguous transfer state. The exchange mainly changes the labels and the checks performed before broadcast. For a shorter screen by screen checklist, use the dedicated Coinbase guide, Binance guide, Kraken guide, or Uphold guide.

Send XRP from Coinbase to XORA

On Coinbase.com, choose Send crypto; in the mobile app, start from Pay. Select XRP, enter the test amount, and choose the native XRP network if a network selector appears. Paste your live XORA address in the recipient field. Coinbase's destination tag guidance says the receiving platform determines whether a tag is required, and XORA requires it. Paste your XORA tag into Memo or Destination Tag, preview every field, and complete any verification Coinbase requests.

Send XRP from Binance to XORA

Open Assets, Overview, Withdraw, and select XRP. Binance's official withdrawal guide says to enter the receiving address, select the correct network, review the details, and complete its security checks. Choose the native XRP or XRPL network. Paste the live XORA address, then paste the required XORA destination tag in the field Binance may label MEMO, Tag, or Destination Tag. If that field is absent, do not send; use Binance support to confirm a withdrawal flow that carries an XRP destination tag.

Send XRP from Kraken to XORA

Choose Portfolio, Withdraw, and XRP. Select the XRP Ledger network if Kraken asks for a network, then add a new withdrawal address. Give the entry a private label, paste the XORA address into the address field, and put the XORA destination tag only in the destination tag field. Kraken advises users to match the receiving network and paste addresses rather than type them. Confirm the new address through the security flow if requested, review, and send the test.

Send XRP from Uphold to XORA

In the Uphold mobile app, choose Withdraw, select the source card, choose Crypto Networks, and find XRP. On the web, start from Transact, choose the source, then Crypto Networks as the destination. Enter the live XORA address and required tag. Uphold's official withdrawal instructions explicitly provide a destination tag or memo field when required and warn that a confirmed transfer order cannot be edited or cancelled. Preview before confirming.

Custody answer for compliance prompts: XORA describes itself as a custodial XRP neobank, not a self custody wallet. If an exchange asks who controls the destination or requests beneficiary information, answer truthfully under that exchange's definitions and your local rules. Do not mislabel the destination to bypass a check.

Exchange processing is not XRPL validation

“Pending” can mean two different things. Before broadcast, the exchange still controls the request. It may be checking account security, recent purchases, withdrawal holds, compliance information, address approval, liquidity, maintenance, or batching. There may be no XRPL transaction yet. Exchange processing time is variable, and the exchange's status page and withdrawal record are the source of truth.

After broadcast, the exchange can provide a transaction hash. XRPL ledger versions usually close about every 3 to 5 seconds, but speed is not the finality test. The payment is final only when it appears successfully in a validated ledger. XORA must then observe that validated result and map the exact destination tag before crediting the internal balance.

The four stages of an XRP transfer from an exchange to XORA An exchange first performs variable internal processing. It then broadcasts an XRP Ledger transaction and produces a hash. XRPL validators finalize the transaction in a validated ledger. XORA observes the validated payment and maps the destination tag to the user's internal balance. A fast ledger does not remove the exchange queue STAGE 1 Exchange review Security, holds, screening, batching VARIABLE STAGE 2 Broadcast Transaction hash now exists ON CHAIN CANDIDATE STAGE 3 XRPL validated Successful result in final ledger FINAL NETWORK STATE STAGE 4 XORA credit Address and tag map to account INTERNAL BALANCE No hash: ask the exchange. Validated hash + correct route: check XORA. Never resubmit blindly while the first withdrawal's state is uncertain. The exchange queue is variable. XRPL ledgers usually close in about 3 to 5 seconds after broadcast.
Use the transaction hash as the dividing line. Before it exists, the exchange owns the delay. After it validates successfully, XORA can verify and attribute the deposit.

Fees, minimums, and changing interfaces

Do not rely on a fee or minimum copied from an old tutorial. Exchanges can change withdrawal charges, minimum amounts, security holds, supported networks, and regional prompts. Read the values shown immediately before confirmation and make sure the amount XORA will receive still matches your plan after deductions.

The same rule applies to labels. XRP's extra routing field may appear as Destination Tag, Tag, or Memo. Those names do not change XORA's requirement. If a screen offers “no tag,” “private wallet,” or a blank field, do not use that shortcut for this deposit. If a QR code fills only the address, add the tag manually from the signed in XORA app.

Troubleshooting a missing XRP deposit

The exchange says pending and shows no transaction hash

The withdrawal has probably not reached XRPL. Review the exchange's withdrawal details, security messages, purchase holds, address approval, account verification, and network status. Do not ask XORA to find an on chain payment that does not yet exist. If the status does not explain the hold, contact the exchange.

A transaction hash exists but is not validated

Open the hash through the exchange's official explorer link or an established XRPL explorer. Check whether it is included in a validated ledger and whether the final result succeeded. Do not submit another full withdrawal while the first one could still validate.

The transaction validated but XORA has not credited it

Compare the on chain destination and destination tag with the live deposit route in your signed in XORA account. Save the hash, amount, timestamp, and exchange withdrawal record. If both fields match, contact XORA through the official site with the transaction hash. Never send a private key, seed phrase, password, or one time code to “prove” ownership.

The tag was missing or wrong

A payment can be final on XRPL without being attributable to the intended XORA customer. Do not send a second payment as a correction. Preserve the transaction hash and contact XORA. A manual investigation may be possible, but recovery and timing are not guaranteed. A wrong tag can point to a different internal route, which requires careful review.

The wrong address or network was used

Blockchain sends are generally irreversible. Contact the sending exchange and the operator of the destination immediately, provide the transaction record, and follow only their official recovery processes. XORA cannot credit a payment it did not receive on its supported XRP Ledger route.

Depositing does not make later withdrawals unconditional. XORA has no fixed term or scheduled redemption window, but withdrawal requests can be delayed, held, or rejected by account, treasury, reconciliation, and risk controls before broadcast. XORA is custodial, so read the security and custody disclosures before deciding how much to transfer.

FAQ

Do I need a destination tag when sending XRP from an exchange to XORA?

Yes. Copy both the current address and required destination tag from your signed in XORA account. If the exchange labels the field Memo, Tag, or Destination Tag, paste the XORA tag there exactly. If there is no tag field, do not send.

Which network should I choose to send XRP to XORA?

Choose the native XRP Ledger network, commonly labeled XRP, XRPL, Ripple, or XRP Ledger. Do not choose an unrelated chain or wrapped XRP route. The network selected at the exchange must match the XRP Ledger route shown by XORA.

How long does an exchange to XORA XRP transfer take?

There is no fixed end to end time. The exchange can run variable checks before broadcast. Once a hash exists, XRPL ledgers usually close about every 3 to 5 seconds, but the result is final only after successful inclusion in a validated ledger. XORA then observes and maps that payment.

Should I send a test amount before transferring all my XRP?

Yes. XORA's security guidance recommends a 1 to 5 XRP test where the exchange's minimum and fee permit it. Wait for that deposit to credit to the intended account, then copy the current live route again before sending more.

What should I do if I used a missing or incorrect XRP destination tag?

Do not resend merely to correct the first payment. Save the transaction hash and exchange record, verify the on chain destination and tag, and contact XORA through its official site. Manual attribution may require review and recovery is not guaranteed.

Move from idle XRP to working XRP

Start with the transfer discipline, not the headline rate: use the official domain, copy both live routing fields, choose native XRPL, verify the test, and keep the transaction hash. XORA remains a custodial product with market, platform, liquidity, operational, and counterparty risk, and its rates are variable and not guaranteed.

If those tradeoffs fit your plan, xora.finance is where to put your XRP to work and earn up to 22% APY value (15% native XRP yield, treasury-subsidised during a disclosed bootstrap, plus estimated XORA reward value) instead of leaving it idle on an exchange.
